Privacy Policy — Sump Pump Check

Sump Pump Check (App ID: com.goonobu.sumppumplog, "the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains how the App handles information.

1. Data Collection

The App does not collect any personal information or usage data.

• The App performs no network communication (fully offline).
• All information you enter or generate — pumps, test sessions, battery voltage readings, notes, and photos — is stored only on your device.
• No third party, including the developer, has access to this information.
• The App does not use any analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

2. Where Data Is Stored

All information entered into or generated by the App is stored locally on your device. Nothing is sent to or stored on an external server.

3. Photos

If you attach a photo to a test session, it is selected using the system photo picker and stored only in the App's local database on your device. The App does not upload photos anywhere.

4. Sharing with Third Parties

Because the App does not collect information, there is no information for the developer to share with third parties. If you export a PDF report and share it (for example, by email or with an insurance company), that sharing is your own action using Apple's standard share sheet and does not pass through the developer.

5. Advertising and Analytics

The App does not include any advertising SDK, analytics tool, or tracking technology, and does not display an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.

6. Purchases

The App offers a free trial followed by a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase to unlock full access. All payment processing is handled entirely by the Apple App Store. Payment information is processed by Apple; the developer does not receive or store it.

7. Notifications

If you enable optional seasonal test reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device using Apple's notification system. No notification data is sent to any server.

8. Data Deletion

Information stored on your device is removed when you delete data within the App, or when you delete (uninstall) the App itself.
