Privacy Policy — BNPL Guard

BNPL Guard (App ID: com.goonobu.bnplguard, "the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains how the App handles information.

1. Data Collection

The App does not collect any personal information or usage data, and it never connects to your bank or to any Buy Now, Pay Later provider.

• Every BNPL plan, payment, and avoided-purchase entry is typed in by you. The App never links to a bank account, card, or any BNPL service (Klarna, Afterpay, Affirm, Zip, PayPal, Sezzle, or others).
• All information you enter is stored only on your device.
• No third party, including the developer, has access to this information.
• The App does not use any analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

2. Where Data Is Stored

All information entered into the App is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Nothing is sent to or stored on an external server.

3. Sharing with Third Parties

Because the App does not collect information, there is no information for the developer to share with third parties. If you use the PDF export or share feature, any information sent to that destination results from your own action and does not pass through the developer.

4. Advertising and Analytics

The App does not include any advertising SDK, analytics tool, or tracking technology, and does not display an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.

5. Subscription and Payment

BNPL Guard offers an optional auto-renewing subscription ("BNPL Guard Pro") with monthly and yearly options, each including a 7-day free trial. Subscription purchases, billing, and renewal are handled entirely by Apple's App Store using your Apple ID. The developer does not receive or store your payment information. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your device's Settings app.

6. Notifications

If you enable payment reminders, the App schedules local notifications on your device. This uses Apple's on-device notification system only — no notification content is sent to any server.

7. Data Deletion

Information stored on your device is removed when you delete data within the App, or when you delete (uninstall) the App itself.
