What TentCert Tracker does
- Equipment & certificatesAsset tag, type, size, location, and owner per item; attach one or more Flame Certificates with number, issuer, issue date, expiration date, and a photo.
- Computed expiration statusValid, expiring soon, or expired is never stored; it's calculated live from the expiration date and your own Expiring Soon threshold in Settings.
- Event Permit matchingAssign equipment to each required line; an expired certificate is always marked as a shortfall, never counted as matched.
- Snapshot submissionsRecording a Submission captures a permanent snapshot of every matched line; later edits to equipment or certificates never change an already-generated Submission PDF.
- Flame Certification Submission Packet PDFEvent summary, required equipment list, match results, certificate index with thumbnails, and submission history.
TentCert Tracker does not determine NFPA 701 compliance, local fire code compliance, or whether a permit will be approved, and it is not legal or regulatory advice. It does not read certificates with OCR — every field is entered by you — and it never files or transmits any record to a fire marshal or permit office; you submit through your jurisdiction's official process, outside the app.
