Privacy Policy — Hunting Log Ontario

Hunting Log Ontario (App ID: com.goonobu.huntlogon, "the App") respects your privacy. This policy explains how the App handles information.

1. Data Collection

The App does not collect any personal information or usage data.

• The App performs no network communication (fully offline).
• All information you enter — harvest and hunt entries, photos, GPS coordinates, regulation notes — is stored only on your device.
• No third party, including the developer, has access to this information.
• The App does not use any analytics tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies.

2. Where Data Is Stored

All information entered into or generated by the App is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Nothing is sent to or stored on an external server, and there is no account or cloud sync.

3. Location Data

The App can optionally capture your device's location when you tap "Capture Location" while logging an entry, to record a harvest or hunt location. This is entirely on-demand — the App does not track your location in the background or continuously. Location data is stored only on your device, together with the entry, and is never transmitted anywhere by the App.

4. Photos

You may optionally attach a photo to a log entry via the system photo picker. Photos are stored only on your device as part of the entry and are never transmitted anywhere by the App.

5. Sharing with Third Parties

Because the App does not collect information, there is no information for the developer to share with third parties. If you use the CSV/PDF export and the system Share Sheet, any information sent to that destination results from your own action and does not pass through the developer.

6. Advertising and Analytics

The App does not include any advertising SDK, analytics tool, or tracking technology, and does not display an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt.

7. Payment

This is a one-time paid app. Payment processing is handled entirely by the Apple App Store. Payment information is processed by Apple; the developer does not receive or store it. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

8. Data Deletion

Information stored on your device is removed when you delete entries within the App, or when you delete (uninstall) the App itself.
