Nothing. Cremation Case Log does not have user accounts, does not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not contain an external AI or backend service. No usage data, device identifiers, or personal information you enter is transmitted to us or any third party.
All records you create — case references, pet and family details, identification tag and seal references, stage events, notes, and certificate snapshots — are stored only in the app's local database on your device (SwiftData). Nothing syncs to iCloud or any server operated by us or a third party.
The app includes an encrypted backup feature that lets a facility create a protected copy of its case records. The backup file is protected with information you set at creation time, and the same information is required to restore it. Where you store the backup file and the passphrase, and who has access to them, is the facility's responsibility. We do not receive a copy of your backup file and do not hold your passphrase, so we cannot recover it if it is lost.
Tag and seal reference values you enter are staff-entered identifiers, not government-issued credentials, and are stored only on-device. The app does not perform facial recognition, image recognition, DNA matching, microchip verification, or any biometric confirmation.
The one-time in-app purchase is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.
Because this app handles sensitive pet and family information, protect the device with an iOS passcode and limit access to authorized facility staff. Encryption of a backup file does not replace controlled access to the device itself.
Cremation Case Log is a professional tool for pet aftercare facility staff and is not directed at children.
