Nothing. Dental Waterline Log does not have user accounts, does not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and does not contain an external AI or backend service. No usage data, device identifiers, or personal information is transmitted to us or any third party. Importantly, the app does not collect any patient information at any point — it tracks operatories and equipment, not people.
All records you create — operatories, treatments, test results, samples, and remediation links — are stored only in the app's local database on your device. Nothing syncs to iCloud or any server operated by us or a third party.
You can delete any operatory, treatment, or test record individually from its list view within the app. Deleting the app from your device removes all locally stored records. If you previously exported a backup ZIP, that file remains wherever you saved it (Files app, iCloud Drive, etc.) and is not affected by deleting the app — delete it separately if you want it gone.
Waterline Maintenance & Testing Log PDFs are generated on-device and exported only when you use the standard iOS share sheet. You choose the destination, and we never receive a copy.
The one-time in-app purchase is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction.
Dental Waterline Log otherwise works fully offline. Network activity happens only in two cases: (1) tapping a Terms of Use or Privacy Policy link opens Safari, and (2) purchasing or restoring the in-app purchase communicates with Apple's payment system. No other network activity occurs.
Dental Waterline Log is a professional tool for dental practice staff and is not directed at children.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this same URL with an updated effective date.
