Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026

Summary: ScanRounds stores all check-point configuration and log data on your own device only. We do not send data to any server, require an account, show ads, or run any analytics.

What we collect

ScanRounds stores check-point names, logged values, and timestamps only in local storage on your iPhone or iPad (a SwiftData database on-device). None of this data is transmitted to us or to any third-party server.

Analytics & advertising

The app does not include any analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or crash-reporting network call. We do not collect usage statistics or track behavior of any kind.

Sharing files with your team

The configuration file (.pointset) and record file (.pointlog) created by the team-sharing features are sent by you, using whatever method you choose — AirDrop, email, or a messaging app. ScanRounds itself never transmits these files anywhere automatically. Whatever service you use to send the file is governed by that service's own privacy policy.

In-app purchase

Purchases are processed through Apple's App Store billing (StoreKit). Payment details never pass through ScanRounds and are handled entirely by Apple. ScanRounds only checks your local purchase/trial status on-device.

Backup

Backup and restore files are saved only on-device or to a location you choose (such as the Files app). If you have iCloud Backup enabled, these files may be included as part of Apple's standard OS-level backup mechanism — this is not something ScanRounds initiates separately.

Children's privacy

ScanRounds is a professional/operational tool and is not directed at children under 13. It does not collect any personally identifying information in the first place.
